Committee is responsible for updating and keeping the Constitution/By-Laws current and correct. Must posses the ability to interpret and articulate the Constitution/By-Laws to members and/or outside organizations and officials whenever necessary. Monitor and enforce the Code of Ethics as determined by the body of NNR. Committee must bring forth any ethics violations of members to the Board of Directors for review, endorsement and support of the board.
Coordinate educational courses for NNR. Responsible for selecting topics, instructors, and making provisions for program materials. Work closely with the NNR School of Real Estate to coordinate and monitor all educational activities as regulated by the State of Tennessee Real Estate Commission.
Committee selects location, theme and honorees, and present to the board of Directors for approval. Member will assists the Chairperson(s) of various banquet committees, i.e. Scholarship, Sponsorship, Tickets, Decorations, Entertainment, Host/Hostess, VIP Reception, Million Dollar Club, and the Awards Committee. Committee accomplishments should be reported at the Board of Director's meeting.
Assume active role in establishing the annual budget for NNR. Review proposed budgets submitted by members and officers and approve and/or make recommendations for any necessary changes. The committee shall keep accurate and concise records of financial status and report to the body as often as required.
This committee shall events and programs to generate fund for our organization. Communicate with political officials to apprise them of our political position and how relevant legislation will effect our members. This committee reviews legislation and recommends political action to protect the interests of the Board members and promote advocacy on their behalf.
Insure that NNR is current on the latest equipment, marketing tools, and technological trends in the real estate market. The committee will also be responsible for recommending Instructors, Marketers, and market information to the Education Committee. Also is Responsible for insuring that the building has the most efficient and technologically advanced systems.
Design novel and innovative methods off attracting new members to the organization through membership drives, social events, notices in newspapers/flyers/radio, etc. Committee must review all applications and check references of membership approval. Contact new members to welcome to the Board and encourage committee participation. Membership retention consist of contracting old memberships to encourage their involvement. Certify roster prior to elections, enforce rules governing the membership and recommended new rules where necessary for conciseness. Must keep the Board informed of any updated information and handle membership orientation.
Membership Orientation informs new members of the history of NNR, existing committees and policies, rules and regulations. This committee shall also provide an overview and a thorough presentation of all of the organization's annual and currant activities, i.e. Mid-winter conferences, annual convention of NAREB, annual awards dinner, million dollar club, etc.
